· Since the main ingredient of chicken satay is chicken meat, it contains a lot of protein. Proteins function to build up, maintain our body tissues and replace those tissues which are old or being damage. Proteins also important for antibodies and hemoglobin producing in our body

· Satay also contained the 3 types of macronutrients, which are fats, carbohydrates and proteins. These 3 nutrients are very important to us, which they are used by our body to generate energy.
· Chicken satay is cooked by using the method of barbecue instead of frying with oil. Therefore, the chicken fat in the satay will be removed from satay during the process of barbecue. Chicken fat is a type of fat that high in saturated fat which may contribute to cardiovascular disease and cause obesity.

· Chicken satay also contains vitamin B1, B2 and B3. These vitamins B are needed for energy metabolism which involves carbohydrates, fats and proteins, proper digestion, and healthy nervous system.
Chicken satay contains not less amount of iron. Iron is important raw material to produce red blood cell in our body for transporting oxygen throughout our body. Iron also is a component of myoglobin in muscle, which provides energy for muscle contraction.

The ingredients which use to make the marinade for satay also have a lot of physiological benefit:
· Turmeric powder is added to chicken satay. It is natural liver detoxifier. It also helps to prevent and slow the progression of Alzheimer's disease. Turmeric also is a very powerful natural medicine which has been used by Chinese and Indian for many years, as anti-inflammatory agent to treat various types of diseases including menstrual difficulties, bloody urine, hemorrhage and chest pain.
